Upon hire all staff are trained and receive ongoing training throughout the year. Background checks are completed upon hire and yearly thereafter.

How to Become a Member of the Boys and Girls Club
To become a member of the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital City an application form must be completed. Please click on the link to obtain a copy of the application form. All information requested must be provided for the enrollment process to be complete. An annual 5.00 membership fee is due at the time of enrollment. Completed applications can be delivered to the Boys and Girls Club located at 727 East Elm or you can fax the information to 573-638-0350 (please make sure all pages front and back are sent).

Boys and Girls Club Afterschool Program-Elementary Schools
The Boys and Girls Club provides quality afterschool programming at East School Pioneer Trails and South School upon school dismissal until 530 PM. An afternoon snack is provided. Pioneer Trails offers morning care from 645 AM until 730 AM. Transportation is provided from Thorpe Gordon Cedar Hill and Moreau Heights to the Boys and Girls Club Elm Street location. Register now for the fall of 2010. Fees are on a monthly basis 65.00 per month per child. State assistance is accepted. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

Boys and Girls Club Afterschool Program-Middle School
The Boys and Girls Club provides programs for middle school youth at the Elm Street location from school dismissal until 530 PM. Transportation is provided from Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Lewis and Clark Middle School to the Boys and Girls Club. This program is free of charge to middle school youth. An afternoon snack is provided.




Boys & Girls Club Capital City
At the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital City, trained professional staff who truly
care, work to provide youth with the skills, support, and opportunities that they
need to succeed. Whether through computers, community service, the arts, or
sports, Club members are encouraged to discover new talents and explore their
own potential.
